What it does

Everything a research session needs, on the page you are already looking at.

No dashboards, no exports to another tool first. The sorted grid replaces the normal feed, and every action sits on a single results bar.

Sort by what matters

Views, likes, comments, shares, outlier score or oldest first. Pick the latest 25, 100, 1,000 or all posts, or a date range down to the day.

Bulk download

Download every sorted reel as one ZIP, or select a handful. Carousels come as numbered files, photos as images, videos as MP4.

Export to Excel, CSV, JSON

Profile, link, date, views, likes, comments, shares, caption and outlier score. Or copy the table and paste it into Google Sheets.

Filters that stay on the page

Narrow by view or like range, posting date, or type. Re-sort from the results bar without reloading anything.

Outlier detection

Every reel is compared with the account's own median. A 10× badge means ten times the usual views: the hook or product is working.

Hover stats everywhere

Hover any tile for views, likes, comments and age, plus a download button. Also on normal, unsorted profiles and single reel pages.

Outlier score

Views are relative. Outliers are not.

A reel with 400,000 views means nothing on a 10-million-follower account and everything on a page that usually gets 20,000. Reel Sorter measures each reel against the median of the account's 25 most recent, matured posts, so a breakout is a breakout regardless of audience size.

Revenue per million views, from one test order.

Place a test order in the competitor's shop and note the order number. Reel Sorter adds up the views it just collected across platforms and turns that one number into revenue per million views, the fastest way to compare products and niches.

Shopify order numbers start at #1001, so order #1100 means 100 orders. Set the first order number to 0 to use the raw number.

views (M) = Instagram + TikTok + Facebook views ÷ 1,000,000 orders = order number − first order number revenue = orders × estimated AOV cvr/mil = revenue ÷ views (M)

In the extension the views fill in automatically after each sort, per platform, and the inputs are remembered. Sort a competitor on Instagram, then on TikTok, and the calculator sums both.

How it works

Four clicks from profile to sorted grid.

Reel Sorter reads the same data the page itself loads. It scrolls the profile for you, collects the posts and shows a live count with a Stop button.

Open a profile

An Instagram profile or Explore page, a TikTok profile, or a Facebook Reels tab.

Pick the scope

Latest 25, 50, 100, 200, 1,000, all, a custom number, or a date range.

Choose the sort

Views, likes, comments, shares, outlier score or oldest.

Work the grid

Hover for stats, select, download, copy or export. Re-sort in place from the results bar.

Add to Chrome

Free on the Chrome Web Store. Works with Chrome, Edge, Brave and other Chromium browsers.

FAQ

Questions people ask before installing.

Is it really free?

Yes. There is no account, no plan and no cap on how many posts you sort or download.

Do I need to log in anywhere?

No. Reel Sorter works inside your normal Instagram, TikTok and Facebook sessions and never asks for credentials.

Where does the data go?

Nowhere. Sorting, downloads, exports and the calculator run locally in your browser. There is no server and no tracking.

Can I sort by views on Instagram posts?

Instagram only exposes views for reels. Sort the Reels tab or the Explore page by views, and the Posts tab by likes or comments.

Why do TikTok downloads sometimes fail later?

TikTok video links expire after a few hours. Sort the profile again and the links refresh.

Does it change the website?

Only visually, on the tab you sorted. It hides the original grid and shows the sorted one. Reload the page to go back.
